- Born on 3 June 1947 in Milotice near Kyjov
- He began playing the flugelhorn when he was sixteen
- In 1967 he and his brother founded Mistříňanka
- In 1975, conducted by the teacher J. Frýbort, Mistříňanka won, as the first music band from Moravia, the prestigious contest for the “Golden Flugelhorn” in České Budějovice
- Antonín led the band as a bandmaster for 40 years, he also worked as its manager and organizer
- Principles that he respected for the period as a bandmaster: “Do never play slapdash and the band may not grow old with me! The major principle says – any musician and any music band have to play for the people in the first place, and whether a musician, a singer or a composer, everybody has to address even the simplest heart with his art.” The words he lives by: “The health is not all, but everything is nothing without health.“

Mistříňanka thanks Antonín Pavluš for his forty-year-long work as a bandmaster and an organizer, and it appreciates his cooperation not only in the past, but it cooperates with him even today (band´s host); the music band would like to express its gratitude for his work and also for the fact that the band has not grown old with him.
